Mumbai, September 14, 2011:CITIZEN Watches (India) Pvt. Limited, a subsidiary of CITIZEN Watches, Japan, today announced the launch of their latest collections – Super Titanium and Satellite Wave. Present at the function was Pankaj Advani, 7 time World Billiards and Snooker Champion and icon for the youth of India.

CITIZENalso announced the most brilliant technological breakthrough of2011 in the watch industry, CITIZEN’s Eco-Drive SATELLITE WAVE, a limited edition watch with a totally new timekeeping system. This next-generation timepiece searches for one of the navigation satellites that orbit the earth. It captures the day, date and time signals the satellite emits from space, 20,000 kms above the earth. Since the satellite signals are controlled by atomic clocks, this watch’s timekeeping is ultra precise. These navigation satellites orbits the earth once every twelve hours, so that this watch receives the signals from any open space, even in the boundless Western Pacific or atop the world’s highest peak.
